Electric Vehicles

Electric Vehicles and More!

Hello, AWESome EarthKind People!

Within the last 18 months, many public and private companies have committed to become 100% carbon neutral by 2030, and entire industries are being galvanized. But we’re just at the beginning to scratch the surface of the most massive revolution in the last century.

By 2035, no combustion vehicles will be sold in California or New York. Virtually every auto manufacturer – and many new ones – now have electric cars for sale.

As one example, Ford invested over $10 Billion in electric vehicles, with the Mustang-E and F-150 Electric Truck now on the market.

98% of most people’s daily driving is less than 100 miles. So… if you have a garage, you can just plug your electric vehicle (EV) into a standard electric outlet overnight and have a full charge in the morning.

The cost of electricity for an EV is 50%-80% LESS than gas, so.. you’ll save on fuel – PLUS no oil changes, no transmission fluid, and ~20 moving parts vs. the 2,000+ in an internal combustion vehicle. As the City of New York (2,000+ EVs) and many others have discovered – moving to electric vehicles provides outstanding reductions in the Total Cost of Ownership (up front capital costs + fuel & maintenance).

But, most people are still concerned about “range anxiety” – or running out of juice.

Do you know that there are 150,000 Level 2 charging ports across the US? These 220-volt chargers take 4-6 hours for an EV to be fully charged. As the industry evolves, we are seeing more DC fast chargers (Level 3s) like Tesla’s superchargers – which can charge a fully electric car  within 20-45 minutes.

Starting in 2022 in California, NY City, and elsewhere, for all new construction buildings- at least 10% of parking spots must have EV-charging-capability.

What do you need to prepare for the transition to EVs? What types of charging stations do you need? What are the utility and government incentives that are available? How do you begin – and how do you make sure you’re ready for the electric transportation future?

On this week’s AWESome EarthKind podcast, we interview Ariel Fan, the Founder and CEO of Green Wealth Energy. Green Wealth is the first woman & minority-owned business enterprise (WMBE) certified for government and public energy procurement in California. Prior to founding Green Wealth, Ariel was recognized as Southern California Edison’s Energy Efficiency Partner of the Year.

About half the energy coming from the sun is absorbed by the earth. Geothermal heating and cooling captures that energy from the ground underneath our feet and transfers it into our buildings.

Discover how easy it is to get ultra-efficient geothermal heating and cooling installed in your home by signing up for “The Power Of Earth With Comfort” free web class.

In the free session, you’ll learn how geothermal works, how to choose a good installer, and how federal, state, and utility incentives can create annual returns of 20% and more on your investment. And, you’ll learn how new financing options can create the opportunity to have instant savings with zero cash down.

If you’re tired of rising energy costs and want to save up to 70% on your energy bills, go to www.AWESomeEarthKind.com and register now for this FREE special event.
