Earth Month

Earth Month

In 1970, the first Earth Day event mobilized millions of Americans and generated the momentum that led to the Clean Water Act and ended the dumping of industrial pollution that had our rivers on fire.

That Earth Day mobilization also produced the Clean Air Act that dramatically reduced air pollution, and led to the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Earth Day is now the most-widely-observed non-religious holiday in the world. Every year, thousands of communities hold local Earth Day events that educate and mobilize millions of people on local, state, national and global environmental issues.

In 2021, the climate crisis poses an existential threat to human civilization. Within this next decade, we MUST make the transition to a clean energy society — or suffer the devastating consequences.

The GOOD NEWS is that we have the technology to tap into the incredible Forces of Nature. The Air, Water, Earth, and Sun — the power that AWES us – can provide more energy than we need.

The BETTER NEWS is that we can save money making the transition to clean electricity, heating, cooling and transportation.

And the BEST NEWS is that every country on the planet, most corporations and institutions, and the vast majority of humanity recognizes the threat and have committed to making the changes we need to survive.

Each of us — all 7+ Billion women and mankind — are now the 5th element. We are a Force of Nature that is literally changing the world.

Let’s use this Earth Day — and Earth Month — to catalyze the turning point that makes Every Day Earth Day.
